Hey, nice job with your presentation! I can't remember if you had mentioned it during your presentation or not, but I was wondering if you looked into/found out any connections between the style these women took on and women of the West at around the same time? It was interesting to see these pictures because they all just reminded me of American "flappers" and all I could think of was the bobs hairstyle, flapper clothing and jazz music and I was wondering if this was taken on mostly from the West? Also, I think looking into the sheet music that Professor Mizenko noted, would be interested too because I never thought of Japanese Jazz music, but if this is all from around the same time period it would be cool to see if this period revolved a lot around Jazz music or something similar to it.
